The InsideR Magazine is the official digital magazine of Queens Park Rangers Football Club produced on a quarterly basis. Totally free of charge to all, this magazine goes behind the scenes the at the club, with exclusive content on the past and present, interviews and movies.

Issue 07 of QPRs official magazine, The InsideR, is out in June
Includes exclusive interviews with Martin Rowlands, Gordon Jago, Marland Yarde, Les Ferdinand and more …

We join Martin Rowlands at his family home to talk about his time at Loftus Road, which has largely been undiscussed. We’ve heard from him before about that incredible promotion at Hillsborough, but what about the other eight seasons he spent at Loftus Road?

His fears when a former QPR player was named manager, the impact of the Briatore / Ecclestone takeover, and how he eventually left the club amidst speculation of a contract dispute. Rowlands reveals all.

The Inside’R’ was also honoured to spend time with Gordon Jago, the man credited with laying the foundations in place between 1971 and 1974 for our greatest ever side, the team of 1975/76. Jago talks about what it was like to work with Jim Gregory, his greatest every signings – and how he managed the mercurial Stan Bowles!

Harlequins and England rugby star Marland Yarde also features in an exclusive interview with the St Lucian born R’s fan, whilst QPR Director of Football, Les Ferdinand, picks the five games that helped shape his footballing life. We also provide an in-depth insight into the club’s academy. With a growing focus on the young R’s coming through the system, we speak with Head of Coaching and Coach Education Simon Ireland, as well as Senior Professional Development Coach, Steve Gallen.

As well as being available on iPad, for the first time Issue 07 can now be downloaded on iPhone.
